January Drop-In (Intermediate/Advanced)

Maggie Robertson (she/her) is a dance artist in Toronto, ON. Originally from the small, rural community of Athens, ON, she grew up dancing and moved to Toronto at the age of 18 to pursue a post-secondary degree in kinesiology while continuing to train in dance. Between 2013-2017, Maggie completed her undergraduate studies while training with the OIP Company, DARK Dance's contemporary stream, and Kalos Collective. She also took on the role of Co-Artistic Director with the Silhouettes Dance Company where she gained experience choreographing for stage and producing shows. Beyond 2017, Maggie realized her true passion was in teaching and pursued a career in classroom education. She now finds herself as a secondary school teacher with the Toronto District School Board, specializing in dance education, special education, and health/physical education.
